My library uses a different authentication method other than geolocation for the databases. What do I need to do to set this up and/or make any changes?

Other authentication methods could include EZ proxy and single sign on (SSO).

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) and Massachusetts Library System (MLS) are only able to assist and troubleshoot the geolocated links. If you use another form of authentication like a proxy or single sign on (SSO), you will need to contact the database vendors directly:

Per Capstone:
To enable EZ Proxy for Capstone, follow these steps:

  1. Access your stanza by going into your configuration screen within EzProxy (look for a config.txt file and open it)
  2. There’s a line with that that reads: URL – Redirect Pebble
  3. Change to your referring URL (full URL w/ SQS)
  4. Contact EZ Proxy support if you have any trouble finding the stanza or updating
