Does the "listen" feature in Encyclopedia Britannica work with translated text?

No, not at this time. The "listen" feature will only work with (and read) the original English text of the article.
You can still use the translation tool to read an article in several different languages.
If the language you need is Spanish, consider using Britannica Escolar and/or Britannica Moderna. The "listen" feature will read the original Spanish text aloud.
