Q. How do I assign titles to students in Sora?

Titles are assigned to students using OverDrive Marketplace, not in Sora itself. 

Titles you can assign to students are:

• titles you have purchased on your own
• simultaneous use ("always available") titles from the shared collection (excluding magazines)

How to assign titles:

1. Go to OverDrive Marketplace (you'll need your OverDrive Marketplace login & password)
2. Go to Admin > Title Assignments then click on "Create Assignment"
3. Click the "Search Titles" button to search for titles (if you're assigning a simultaneous use title from the shared collection you'll need to type in the exact title) then select the title you want
4. Complete the rest of the sections on the page. You'll need the user IDs of the individual(s) that you are assigning the titles to.

Assigned titles do not count toward the number of total titles that can be checked out. There is also no limit to the number titles that can be assigned.
