Some libraries do require a CORI check before a candidate can begin work. If requested by the library, BiblioTemps will conduct a CORI check as part of the onboarding process prior to the candidate's first day of work, the library will be charged for the CORI check. The library can also select to conduct the CORI check themselves after the candidate is hired.
All CORI checks are done with consent of the candidate, and none are performed prior to the candidate's hire date.
