The three content levels are:

Juvenile - most often associated with elementary school age
Young Adult - most often associated with middle school age
Adult - most often associated with high school age and above

Here are some examples of titles that you can expect to see in each content access level:

Juvenile

  • Penguin Problems by Jory John
  • Pinkalicious series by Victoria Kann
  • Big Nate series by Lincoln Perice

Young Adult

  • We are all made of Molecules by Susin Nielsen
  • My Year in the Middle by Lila Quintero Weaver
  • The Right Hook of Devin Velma by Jake Burt

Adult

  • Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff
  • The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas
  • Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

Care is taken so that titles are appropriately aligned with corresponding age groups as much as possible.

Assigned content access levels of titles can be changed on an individual title-by-title basis. Use the content level reconsideration form to request a content level access change for a title: http://masslibsystem.libsurveys.com/odcontlev
